discover the valorterre hauts-de-france platform in santes
Located in the Nord department (59), near Lille, the Santes platform is specialized in the management of polluted soil and inert materials.
Located in the Port of Santes, on the banks of the Deûle, the platform has a surface area of 9,145 m2 and a transit capacity of 50,000 t/year. The center is equipped with a quayside allowing it to unload and load barges directly and to ensure the river transport of the soil before and after treatment. The platform has a permit for cross-border transport to recovery facilities.
The Santes platform recovers inert materials polluted with biodegradable organic compounds, such as fuel oil, crude oil, gas oil, kerosene. Once recovered, the soil is reused for example as backfill or in landscaping projects.
With its expertise in the management of impacted materials, our team receives, controls, analyzes and sorts the excavated material. This characterization makes it possible to determine the path of the soil within the platform and to carry out the appropriate management according to the type of pollutant and the concentrations.
