The Ortec Group strengthens its position in Northern France with the integration of the Steel Group
The Steel Group, a specialist in metalwork, is joining the Ortec Group as of November 14, 2023. This merger reinforces the Group’s expertise in manufacturing and assembly to meet the challenges of the nuclear and industrial sectors in Northern France.
The Steel Group (BSL Steel, Actri and GSI), comprising 100 professionals with expertise in boilermaking, piping and qualified welding, is joining the teams of Friedlander Nord, a subsidiary of the Ortec Group and a leader in the welding and piping sector.
This alliance will enable the Ortec Group to meet all the needs of the nuclear and industrial sectors in the Dunkirk area and in Northern France, a region currently experiencing strong growth thanks to strategic reindustrialization projects as well as the French electronuclear program: EPR2, gigafactories, renewable energies, heavy industry, etc.
