A unique organisation
Ortec is organised into four business units, which are themselves made up of departments that manage specialised subsidiaries and operational branches, established strategically close to its customers’ industrial processes. Common support services provide their specific expertise across all four businesses.
Thanks to its organisational structure and the strong synergy between local branches, the group can quickly and efficiently mobilise the resources and energies needed to complete projects successfully and deploy its multi-trade know-how around the world.
Engineering division
The strength of generalist engineering, the approach and know-how of specialists. Ortec’s engineering offer, in France and internationally, is based on 30 years of experience in the sectors of aeronautics, defense, energy, transport and industry. The Group’s engineering teams combine proximity, availability, agility and responsibility to contribute to the success of their customers’ projects, right from the start.
From the initial studies, through project and data management, to the implementation of works, Ortec Engineering services cover every aspect of the industrial project life cycle. The diversity of sectors in which Ortec is positioned and the experience gained through its works activities mean that the Engineering Division has extensive field culture and is attentive to execution.
Contracting France Division
Cutting-edge expertise in piping, metallurgy, lifting… along with the significant capacity to deploy human and material resources, make Ortec one of the leading players on the most demanding projects.
Responsiveness, agility, skills coordination, technical innovations… enable us to meet the greatest challenges alongside our customers. The Group’s experience serves important key players in meeting the challenges of major projects (e.g. Back-up Diesel Generators (DUS, ITER, etc.). For new or revamping works, whether mechanical, metalwork, pipework, etc. the know-how is transmitted and capitalized in order to understand and approach projects with the utmost technical rigor and under optimal safety conditions.
Contracting International Division
The expertise of “Turnkey” projects (EPCI: Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation). Although the core activity of the international Contracting Division involves metalworks (prefabrication, manufacturing and installation), in the energy, mining and agri-food sectors, the Group’s desire to assist its customers throughout the life cycle of their projects has led the agencies to diversify their activities, over the past 30 years, to offer integrated solutions, from initial studies through to commissioning, and including the maintenance of installations.
The regional networking of agencies, their knowledge of ecosystems and their multidisciplinary know-how, mean that Ortec and its branches are responsive and reliable partners in responding to ever-evolving economic, social and environmental issues.
Global Services Division
Driven by a strongly customer service-oriented culture, Ortec deploys its know-how in industrial maintenance, decontamination, sanitation, waste management, electrical and thermal engineering. With a network of local branches, the Group puts its operational capacity, its responsiveness and its flexibility to use for the benefit of industrial players and public authorities alike.

Energies Division
Committed to a low-carbon approach, in line with the conclusions of the Paris Agreement, the Ortec Group is making its contribution to the energy transition in the face of global warming.
The Energies Division demonstrates the Group’s capacity to deliver in the fields of electrification and renewable energies. It is part of Ortec’s global offering: design, construct, maintain.
Its focus is on supporting major industries in their transition, energy efficiency in buildings guided by the BACS and Tertiary decrees, the operation of renewable energy plants and the development of solutions based on new energies (hydrogen, geothermal, biomass, solar, etc.).
Its teams are specialized in electrical engineering, thermal engineering and low-voltage current, as well as in IRVE installation. A network of ultra-fast battery charging stations also meets the needs of industrial companies committed to electrifying their fleets.
