From November 17 to December 5, 2025, the Ortec Group will participate in Forindustrie – The Extraordinary Universe, an immersive and collaborative educational experience designed to introduce middle school, high school and college students, as well as teachers, to the industrial world and its careers in a fresh and engaging way.

As industry faces growing challenges in technical skills and workforce needs, the Ortec Group is partnering with the 2025–2026 edition of Forindustrie. Co-created with the French Ministry of Education and France Travail, this online platform (univers.forindustrie.fr) brings together major French industry players around one mission: to promote, highlight and enhance the appeal of industrial careers, sparking interest among future talent and encouraging them to join a sector undergoing major transformation.

A new way to discover industrial careers

Designed as an educational metaverse, the platform invites participants to explore different “worlds” of industry through quests, investigations and collaborative challenges. By drawing on video game mechanics and storytelling, Forindustrie creates new connections between young people and companies, helping them discover various sectors and careers, and understand how these fields shape the world around us.

A major highlight of the 2025 edition is the inter-class Grand Challenge, “In Pursuit of Doctor Déboulon.” Middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students and job seekers will journey through seven worlds—including one dedicated to the Energy Transition—in hopes of winning the contest.

For the Ortec Group, this initiative aligns fully with its commitment to promoting industrial careers and raising awareness of evolving skill needs. “Talent recruitment starts long before young people enter the workforce. Yet industry remains largely unfamiliar to many of them. This innovative format allows us to meet them where they are, challenge misconceptions and highlight the wide variety of possible career paths,” explains Sophie Moretti, Recruitment Manager at the Ortec Group.

Spotlight on the energy transition

For its first participation, Ortec will be featured in the Energy Transition world—an area at the heart of its activities and commitments. Participants will explore careers related to energy performance, electrification, low-carbon mobility and nuclear technologies. Through video testimonials, interactive quizzes and a dedicated webinar, young people will discover the diversity of backgrounds, skills and personalities that make up the Ortec Group, and see how our teams contribute concretely to the goals of the energy transition.

With more than 5,000 classes and 100,000 students involved in the previous edition, Forindustrie stands out as a unique and motivating educational tool that connects younger generations to the industrial world, sparking curiosity about technology, innovation and teamwork— and, we hope, inspiring new vocations.
