Ortec Environnement Le Havre Receives Two Safety and HSE Awards from TotalEnergies
The Tancarville agency, which specializes in industrial cleaning, has received two awards at the Normandy sites of its long-standing customer. This double recognition highlights the teams’ safety culture and operational performance, supporting a long‑term partnership.
Manual cleaning, pumping, and high-pressure cleaning: every day, the teams at Ortec Environnement Le Havre carry out sensitive operations where rigor and safety are essential. Their commitment was recently recognized in May 2026 by TotalEnergies through two awards presented at strategic sites in Normandy. “These awards recognize the collective effort and consistent performance of our teams. They reflect a deeply ingrained safety culture, high operational standards, and a relationship of trust built over time,” emphasizes Aurélien Caillot, Deputy Agency Manager.
Oudalle d’Or Safety Award at TotalEnergies Fluids…
On May 4, 2026, Ortec Environnement Le Havre received the Oudalle d’Or Safety Award, the highest distinction awarded at the TotalEnergies Fluids site in Oudalle, presented by Site Director Dominique Mallia.
This award recognizes the teams’ consistent commitment and their full alignment with the customer’s requirements. Operating at the site since 2017, the agency has maintained a “zero-accident” record, demonstrating sustained risk control.
This award also reflects a consistent track record of performance, as the agency has now received its third gold award, following those in 2017 and 2020. “Maintaining this level of excellence over time is a source of real pride. It demonstrates our ability to meet our commitments and pursue continuous improvement alongside our customer,” explains Aurélien.
… and the HSE “Clean Plant” Award at the Normandy Platform
A few days later, on May 12, 2026, the teams were honored at the Normandy Platform (refinery) with the HSE “Clean Plant” Award, presented by Thomas Maurisse, Head of the RC Europe Division, and François Bourrasse, Director of the Normandy Platform.
This special award highlights all the corrective and preventive operations carried out, namely the maintenance of pipe racks and drainage channels used for rainwater and oily water treatment. At a Seveso II-classified site, these operations require rigorous preparation and particularly demanding on-site monitoring.
Operating at this site since 2016, the agency recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of this contract, further strengthening a lasting relationship built on trust. This distinction recognizes a decade of consistent commitment.
