The Ortec Group is expanding its electrical and HVAC engineering activities for energy-efficient building renovation through the acquisition of Weetec Group
Engineering and construction services group Ortec has announced the acquisition of the Weetec Group from Sparring Capital, effective December 12, 2024. This strategic acquisition enhances Ortec Group’s expertise in electrical and HVAC engineering in the Paris region, supporting the environmental and energy transition.
Weetec Group, with a revenue of 85 million euros, is a leading player in electrical and HVAC engineering in Île-de-France. Through its seven specialized subsidiaries: Meusnier, Perrin, Egelec, Deletre, Cesa, Softair and Snea, Weetec offers renovation, construction, maintenance and small-scale electrical and HVAC engineering services to a diverse customer base in the residential and commercial sectors.
The 300 employees of Weetec and its subsidiaries are joining Ortec Group’s Energy Division, which provides sustainable solutions for the electrification of residential, commercial, industrial, and mobility applications. This division also includes Obornes, which operates the Oreve network of ultra-fast charging stations for trucks and vans, and Brunet, an expert in electrical, thermal, and low-current engineering.
