Located in the Ardennes department (08), Biogénie Chalandry-Elaire is a biological treatment platform for contaminated soil.

The platform covers 25,800 m2, has a treatment capacity of 12,000 t/year, and a transit capacity of 30,000 t at any time, with an annual limit to be counted within the 60,000 t authorized per year.

Biogénie Chalandry-Elaire handles materials contaminated with biodegradable organic compounds such as fuel oil, crude oil, diesel, and kerosene. The recovered soil is reused, for example, as backfill material or as part of landscape redevelopment projects.

The Biogénie Chalandry-Elaire platform holds MASE/UIC Certification for its soil and groundwater remediation and industrial brownfield rehabilitation activities. The certification aims to reduce workplace risks through a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system.
