Discover the platform Biogenie Château-Gaillard
Located in the Ain departement (01), Biogenie Château-Gaillard is a biological treatment platform for polluted soil.
Covering an area of 48,900 m2, the platform has a treatment capacity of 45,000 t/year and a transit capacity of 60,000 t instantaneous, with an annual limit of 100,000 t.
Biogénie Bruyère handles materials polluted with biodegradable organic compounds such as fuel oil, crude oil, diesel and kerosene. Recovered soil is reused, for example, as backfill or in landscaping projects.
expertises
With its expertise in the management of impacted materials, our team receives, controls, analyzes and sorts the excavated material. This characterization makes it possible to determine the path of the soil within the platform and to carry out the appropriate management according to the type of pollutant and the concentrations.
Non-impacted materials, or those that cannot be treated on site, are grouped together and directed to external ad hoc channels (recovery and/or treatment).
Biological degradation (with or without stimulation) is achieved by conditioning and placing the excavated soil in biopiles and biotanks. The control of chemical, physical and biological parameters creates a favorable environment for the development of micro-organisms that will eliminate the organic pollutants
Taking charge of the complete cycle of treatment of polluted materials until their final recovery, our teams ensure their traceability in the greatest respect of the regulatory and environmental requirements:
- Installation Classified for the Protection of the
- Environment (ICPE) AP n°2018-DCAT-BEPE-149 of 13/07/2018
- Acceptance procedure: Waste identification sheet
- (FID), Prior Acceptance Certificate (CAP)
- Traceability of materials (BSD, weighing, register…)
- Autonomous weighing on site by weighbridge with follow-up software for the traceability of the receptions
- Soil, stone and gravel (including excavated material from contaminated sites)
- Solid waste and sludge from soil and groundwater decontamination
- Track ballast
- Bituminous mixtures
- Waste/sludge from oil separators
- Dredging sludge
- Waste from grit removal
- Waste from sewer cleaning (networks and stormwater management structures)
