Carbon Disclosure Project: Ortec Group earns an “A” rating
Ortec Group has been awarded the highest possible score, an “A”, by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in the “Climate” category. This rating reflects the Group’s strong understanding and control of its environmental impacts and confirms the quality and transparency of its reporting, as well as its leadership in the fight against climate change.
This distinction highlights the strategic choices, structural initiatives and collective efforts of Ortec Group’s teams in implementing its O’Climat plan. The plan aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the Group’s operations, targeting a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, while also supporting its clients’ decarbonization through its Sustainable Performance Solutions.
A rigorous and independent assessment
The CDP is a non-governmental organization that reviews environmental data from more than 20,000 companies, cities and public institutions worldwide each year. Its rating system, from D to A, is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous benchmarks for environmental reporting.
By joining the CDP A List, Ortec Group enters the select circle of the top 4% of companies most committed to environmental performance among all those assessed by the NGO.
This recognition marks a key milestone in the Group’s climate roadmap, as it continues to pursue and strengthen its commitments. It notably underscores Ortec Group’s ability to:
- disclose its environmental data with a high level of transparency,
- implement concrete and measurable actions to reduce its emissions,
- anticipate climate-related risks and strengthen resilience,
- align its strategy with global targets, including those of the Paris Agreement.
Olivier Malozon, Innovation, Skills and CSR Director at Ortec Group, commented:
“We are proud to have achieved the CDP A rating, which recognizes the long-standing commitment of our teams to decarbonizing both our own operations and those of our clients. This recognition marks an important milestone, but the journey continues. We remain committed to continuous improvement and innovation, to deliver a lasting positive impact for the planet and future generations.”
Sherry Madera, CEO of the CDP, added:
“Companies that achieve an A rating demonstrate that environmental ambition and economic performance go hand in hand. High-quality data gives leaders the confidence to make decisions that benefit the planet, while strengthening long-term competitiveness, attracting investment, and safeguarding natural ecosystems. These organizations demonstrate what can be achieved when transparency drives action.”
