Oreve launches its new website
Oreve, the leading public network of ultra-fast charging stations for professionals located in business and industrial areas close to Low Emission Zones, has launched its new website. This is an opportunity to discover the history of the project and the advantages of the new solution designed to help companies and their employees make the transition to electric mobility.
Now that the first stations are under construction in Durtal and Avoine, Oreve has launched its own website. The site is dedicated to different user profiles – companies, manufacturers, local authorities, employees – and contains all the information you need to understand the benefits of the new solution,to help you adopt it and to facilitate its day-to-day use: location of Oreve sites, characteristics and functioning of electric charging stations, maintenance of infrastructure and equipment, additional services, etc.
A solution designed by industries…
With a fleet of around 4,500 vehicles, including 1,500 trucks, the Ortec Group is committed to an ambitious electrification plan for its equipment. The goal is to convert 50% of its fleet to electric power by 2030, in order to significantly reduce its carbon footprint.
To support this initiative and meet the needs not covered by existing private charging stations, the Group is deploying a nationwide network of ultra-fast charging stations on the outskirts of its branches, as well as in industrial and business areas near Low Emission Zones. By opening these stations to the public, Ortec encourages neighboring SMEs to pool their recharging needs, optimizing daily rotations and the availability of electrical power.
…to contribute to the energy transition of professionals
Oreve, the winner of an ADEME award, aims to help professionals and local authorities make the transition to electromobility, by providing them with high-performance, reliable and secure infrastructures.
These infrastructures are specifically adapted to their needs, and include the latest-generation charging stations, featuring some of the most powerful power ratings on the market (up to 400 kW). Equipment maintenance, carried out by Brunet, a subsidiary of the Ortec Group specializing in electrical and thermal engineering, guarantees impeccable reliability. The stations are designed to accommodate all types of vehicles simultaneously on fully secured sites: light vehicles, utility vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles (up to 26 tons). To enhance user safety and comfort, they include a dedicated charging area for heavy-duty vehicles, separate from those for employee and private vehicles.
Designed to optimize waiting times while vehicles are being charged, Oreve stations also offer a range of additional services: wifi, rest areas, sanitary facilities, snacks, etc. All of these advantages help to remove the obstacles faced by companies and their employees when it comes to converting their fleets to electric vehicles.
