Orys, an Ortec Group subsidiary, performs all types of work on the installations, equipment or processes of industrial companies, from manufacturing to on-site assembly, in France and abroad. Thanks to its solid historical experience on complex projects in the most diverse and demanding sectors, Orys is able to capitalise on its multidisciplinary knowledge in pipework, metalwork, mechanics, electromechanics, non-destructive inspection, heavy handling, transportation, sanitation, the expertise and responsiveness of its teams as well as high-performance technical tools to offer a complete and diversified service.
As part of a local working initiative, as close as possible to customers’ production sites, several of the subsidiary’s branches are present in the regions, as is the case in Belleville, in the Centre-Val de Loire.
“The Belleville branch specialises in new, modified and revamped metalwork on all grades,” explains Mickaël Renault, the Business Manager of this branch in Cher. “A 1,500-m² workshop equipped with a range of specialised machines in this field, workshop technicians, fitting and installation teams and specially adapted equipment enable us to carry out these services in complete safety. We manufacture from blueprints drawn up by our design office or provided by the customer and we are capable of working with all metals: steel, carbon, stainless steel, aluminium, alloy, copper, etc.”
The strengths of the facility include its high level of responsiveness and adaptability, partnerships with suppliers and trust-based relationships with customers, as well as high-performance equipment (press brake, guillotines, punching machine, sheet metal rolling machine, welding station, automatic band saw, forklift truck, workshop truck/construction site skip, painting booth, etc.). In terms of human resources, technicians, qualified welders and a design office offer optimal know-how.
The products we make range from metal staircases, railings and handrails to mechanical or motorised doors, physical or biological protection, specific stainless steel or aluminium materials, lifting devices, metal constructions and frames or boiler apparatus.
Expertise in the nuclear sector
The subsidiary also devotes a part of its activity to work and maintenance in the nuclear sector, remains the partner of electricity producers and the sole interlocutor for Major Projects for which the Ortec Group is able to design, manage and produce the equipment necessary for their successful completion. The Belleville branch is in fact located close to the four nuclear power plants in Centre-Val de Loire. It was recently involved in a major project to refurbish the structures of the aero-refrigeration units at the Nuclear Electricity Production Centre (CNPE) in Saint Laurent.
The solutions provided by Orys offer complete technical competence ranging from general installation studies to dismantling, sanitisation and radioactive decontamination, including equipment installation, nuclear maintenance and heavy handling.
