Soil traceability is essential to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of contaminated soil management projects. Every step of the treatment process, from sampling to final treatment, is carefully documented. This guarantees transparent, regulation-compliant management and provides clients with rigorous and secure project monitoring.
This site was previously operated for many years as a sand pit and had reached the end of its service life. It has since been redeveloped into secured sections, each protected by a dual-layer containment and sealing system, designed to safely confine lightly contaminated soils.
The site is fully compliant with the Regulation respecting the landfilling of contaminated soils (RESC). Once a section is completed, it is covered with the same protective membrane. After seeding, the reclaimed mound is transformed into a green space and returned to the municipality for public use.
