The second Oreve ultra-fast public charging station for professionals, following on from Durtal, will be inaugurated in Avoine (Indre-et-Loire) on December 5, 2024. Oreve stations are designed and operated by Obornes, the electric mobility infrastructure subsidiary of the Ortec Group, to meet the needs of professional fleet managers and local authorities near Low Emission Mobility Zones (LEZ).

The Oreve station in Avoine features six EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) chargers with a power of 360 kW each, providing 12 charging points. The site is configured to facilitate traffic flow by offering designated charging areas based on vehicle categories: light vehicles, commercial vans, and heavy trucks (up to 26 tons).

Open 24/7 to both professionals and the general public, the station offers services to ensure the comfort of all users, including a rest area, Wi-Fi, restrooms, and snacks.

A mobile app, available on iOS and Android, provides practical features such as station geolocation, charger availability checks, and charging activation.

With a target of 260 stations across France by 2030, the Oreve network supports companies in expanding their electric vehicle fleets and reducing their carbon footprint.
