to continue their development in high-potential regions and
strengthen their steel fabrication expertise in the energy sector
Ortec, an engineering and construction services group, announces the integration of 3C Metal, effective September 30, 2024. This strategic acquisition strengthens the Group’s development in high-potential regions, thanks to combined strategic global locations. It capitalizes on 3C Metal’s expertise and advanced know-how to support the ambitions of major players in the energy sector.
3C Metal, a specialist in the engineering, manufacturing and installation of piping systems and steel structures, brings its expertise in key sectors such as oil and gas, nuclear energy, renewable energies (solar thermal, wind, hydrogen), as well as the marine and mining industries.
Based in Sauvelade, southwest France, with subsidiaries and fabrication facilities in South Africa, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Namibia, Mozambique and the United States, 3C Metal has 600 employees and generates annual revenue of €110 million.
3C Metal will retain its name, a recognized brand in the market, and its current management. The company is joining the International Contracting Division of the Ortec Group as of today. This integration increases the revenue of Ortec Group’s subsidiaries outside of France to 35% of the total turnover.
