Want to build the industry of tomorrow? The Ortec Group is offering you an exceptional opportunity! Become one of the future engineers of our Engineering division by following an unprecedented integration path in our SOM Industrie branches. Over a five week period, SOM Industrie will introduce you to, and train you in, the future challenges for industry 4.0. If you dream of discovering our different working environments, quickly taking on responsibilities and developing your skills, you should apply!

Ready to join one of our Engineering structures?

Starting in October 2018, take part in the “Mon Parcours Ingé” (My Engineering Career) recruitment campaign, launched by SOM Industrie, a subsidiary of the Ortec Group, and perhaps you will soon become one of our future engineers and benefit from a unique induction programme. The aim of the campaign is to identify and increase the skills of our future engineers, allowing them to fully and concretely understand the different worlds of our businesses.

In parallel to these discoveries, you will follow numerous business training courses to support you throughout your responsibilities. By taking part in this programme, you will also gain an overview of the Group’s values: commitment, sense of belonging, openness, loyalty, respect for others and proximity to the field.

Following your recruitment, you will join the programme specifically developed for this campaign: 40% theoretical training and 60% training out in the field, perhaps with your future colleagues, all of this with different agencies. This induction programme will allow you to discover various types of customer environments (petrochemicals, the pharmaceutical industry, the rail industry) within the context of Project Management, Engineering and Risk Management professions. At the end of these training courses, you will take part in projects by joining our teams at our customers’ facilities.

Who can apply?

All young engineering school or technical Masters graduates with less than 3 years’ experience, and having completed an initial work placement or sandwich course with an engineering or industrial works company if possible. What are the other prerequisites required to be one of the candidates chosen to take part in this experience?

Attracted to engineering professions, passion for industry, motivation for learning, willingness to undertake activities, technical curiosity, ability to listen, autonomy, geographical mobility and team spirit.

Does this describe you? If so, send your application without delay to: barbara.rouzaire@som-industrie.com

If your application is successful, you will be invited to the Group head office where you will take part in one of our fun group assessment sessions, and meet the Ortec Group managers and operational managers. This will be your golden opportunity to showcase your strengths, personality and team spirit!

What are you waiting for? Come and join us on this exciting adventure!
