As part of its solidarity partnership and active support for the ARC Foundation, the Ortec Group is taking part in the Triathlon of the Roses – women only for breast cancer research. 18 of our female colleagues will be at the event’s starting blocks on 21 September 2019 in Paris (Domaine national de Saint-Cloud).

They are all ready to go! Ready to get involved under the Ortec Group colours to help finance the fight against breast cancer. Indeed, 100% of the funds collected during the Triathlon of the Roses will be donated to research.

With a few weeks to go before the start, the 18 contenders have each set up their own training programme to ultimately complete the 200-metre swim, 8-kilometre bike ride and 5-kilometre run. Motivation is two-fold: to meet the sporting challenge and to contribute to a good cause that concerns us all. And always in a happy mood and friendly atmosphere.

They all occupy, within the Group, various roles, whether from head office or agencies throughout France… The participants will be as one on 21 September to demonstrate Ortec’s commitment to the ARC Foundation.

Solidarity, a cornerstone of “Made in Ortec”

5 years ago, the ARC Foundation created the Triathlon of the Roses in order to raise public awareness of cancer prevention and the benefits of physical exercise, but also to raise funds for research. A major challenge when you consider that with 59,000 cases and 12,000 deaths per year, breast cancer is the most prevalent and the deadliest cancer for women.

The Group’s implication is directly in line with one of the values of “Made in Ortec” constantly in the spotlight: solidarity. Our multi-year commitment alongside the ARC Foundation is a prime illustration of this.

Starting line…
