The ORTEC Group is developing its electrical and thermal engineering activities in South-East France with the integration of SATERM.

The engineering and construction services group ORTEC has announced the integration of the SATERM Group into its subsidiary BRUNET, effective October 1, 2024. This integration will help the Group to develop its electrical and thermal engineering activities in south-eastern France, as well as its proximity to customers, to support them in their energy transition.

With 80 employees and a turnover of 18 million euros, SATERM (Société d’Application Thermique Et Refroidissement Machine) and its subsidiaries Ugis, Volta and Clim2M, form a group specialized in electrical and HVAC engineering. The company has a recognized expertise in design, combined with technical skills in industrial piping, plumbing, electricity, regulation, building management systems, heating-cooling and air treatment. With all these assets, the multi-sector group provides services to a wide range of sectors (industrial, services & logistics, healthcare, retail, leisure and sports facilities, housing, etc.).

SATERM’s team is now part of the BRUNET subsidiary, within the ORTEC Group’s Energy Division. BRUNET offers a complete range of multitechnical services for professionals through its 35 branches specializing in technical building trades, electrical engineering, low-voltage systems, thermal engineering and extended multitechnical services. With extensive technical expertise and know-how in construction and services, BRUNET provides services to more than 11,000 customers every year, with over 30,000 breakdown repairs, 4,200 maintenance contracts, and almost 60,000 completed projects.

This integration strengthens the ORTEC Group’s electrical and thermal engineering activities in South-East France, as SATERM’s locations, concentrated in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur regions, complement those of BRUNET.

“The integration of SATERM allows us to strengthen BRUNET’s territorial coverage, ensuring that we are ever closer to our customers. It’s an important step towards meeting their growing needs related to the energy transition” commented André Einaudi, Chairman and CEO of the ORTEC Group.

“SATERM and BRUNET have similar expertise and customer profiles. Our geographical complementarity will be a valuable asset for the benefit of our customers. We are delighted to be taking this next step as part of the ORTEC Group, with whom we share the same field and service culture ” said Didier Dabrigeon, President of SATERM.
